Private pilots are open, with limited places. How a pilot works

An example capability

Customer chat

A chat on your website that answers customers and takes orders.

The store assistant answers your customers on your own website: products, prices, delivery and their own orders. It works from your shop's live data, and hands anything delicate to you.

What it does

  • Answers questions about products, prices and stock from your shop, never from memory.
  • Tells a signed-in customer where their order is; other visitors are asked to sign in.
  • Places an order once the customer confirms it, within the limit you set.
  • Passes complaints and refunds to you, and tells the customer the team will follow up.

An example run

You ask: “Where is my order? And I'd like two of the foam cleansers, please go ahead.”

  1. Looks up the signed-in customer's own orders.
  2. Checks the cleanser's price and stock in your shop.
  3. Places the order, which is within your limit.
  4. Answers the customer, and tells you it placed an order.

Your own systems

Your shop, CRM or booking system through its API, or your database, read-only.

Default: You decide per action: on its own, within a limit, or always asks.

Coding

Fix issues, open pull requests, review code and triage bugs.

Default: Asks before any merge or deploy.
