Give Fumu an issue link. The Coding agent reads the code, makes the change, runs your tests and opens a pull request for you to review. Nothing is merged or deployed without your say-so.

What it does

  • Reads the issue, the code around it and recent history before changing anything.
  • Works in an isolated workspace, away from anything it does not need.
  • Runs your project's own tests and only opens a pull request when they pass.
  • Answers review comments on its own pull requests, and triages new bugs with labels.

An example run

“Fix the date parsing bug in issue 412 and open a PR.”

  1. Reads the issue and the code around it.
  2. Reproduces the bug with a failing test.
  3. Makes the fix; the full test suite passes.
  4. Opens a pull request that links the issue.
  5. Sends you the pull request and asks before merging.
